Text correction service

Plantation forest, Wales, UK. © 2001 Trelawny Bond-TaylorWhether you are writing a paper for publication in an academic journal, producing a brochure for a national park, promoting a new product or service on your organisation’s website or even making a presentation about your latest activities, it is imperative to ensure that the English you use is correct and makes logical and grammatical sense.

Earth English has already been asked to correct a variety of texts on a range of subjects as diverse as beaver reintroduction, canine leishmaniasis and the role of women in 19th century male social clubs. Previous clients have included authors working and studying at the Duna-Dráva National Park Directorate (Hungary), the University of Pécs (Hungary), the Polytechnic Institute of Setúbal (Portugal), the University of Valladolid (Spain), the University of Évora (Portugal) and IS Global (Barcelona Institute for Global Health) (Spain).

I will consider all English texts for correction and charge between 2.5 and 3.5 Euro cents per word (minimum 500 words) depending on the size of the document and level of correction required.

I will proof-read your text and correct any errors in spelling, vocabulary, grammar, punctuation, word order and style. I will not change the content of your text in any way, but I will suggest alternative phrases or wording to ensure the meaning you want to express is correct, and that the text is coherent and cohesive.

Your work will remain confidential – your text or any part of it will never be shared with anyone else during or after the correction process.
